Rotten Apple

So I had a customer today...


And I just want to say.....

PAY YOUR CHANG FEE AND ADDITIONAL COST IF YOU WANT THE TICKET TO BE ISSUED.

Why don't they understand a simple concept that if you want to make a change then you would have to pay a price.

If the other airlines don't do it, then you can buy your ticket from them. We don't match fares, and we definitely don't match policies.

Oh, also, I don't get any extra pay by charging you so you can stop saying that I am stealing money from you. And you are most welcome to call back and talk to another agent but I am not calling you back.

Frankly, I don't care.

"a piece of shit"

I had a customer the other day..

who wants to use remaining balance to book a trip. When I told her she had to pay the difference in fare and change fee, she flipped.

And started saying I'm not doing my job right.

Now, think about it. You purchased the ticket at a price, that price is ONLY for the flights you originally booked. If you wanted to change to another day, regardless of if its the same flight number or same destination, you would have to pay a change fee. If there is no additional charge, I won't charge you.

But WHY DO PEOPLE think they can get away with everything if they just simply say, "the last agent that dealt with me didn't say anything". or "They didn't charge me before, why are you charging me now?"

Seriously, I don't have control what the last agent did or say, why do they always complain about the other agent when you have my best offer? And if you felt like they did their job better then why do you have to call me back doing the same thing over and over again?

At the end, whose time is being wasted when you are complaining about the long wait and you kept complaining over an hour?

"Can I fly my puppy?"

So, I had a customer the other day..

"Hi, I would like to fly my puppy on a flight."
"No problem, Sir. Do you have a booking or ticket number?"

"No, I haven't make the booking yet, how do I do that with my puppy?"
"Where are you flying to with your puppy?"
"Oh, only the puppy is flying, I am not going with him. Can I register him on a flight?
"No, sir, puppies cannot fly themselves. I can give you the number for another department."



So, pets can be your best friend, but they don't understand how to take the emergency exit when there is an emergency.

and they can't fly without you on a regular flight. 

"How do I get on a flight without my ID?"

So, I had a customer the other day.

"I'm freaking out, my flight is 2 days away but I lost my birth certificate!"
"Okay, do you have passport or health card? And government issued IDs that has your name and birthday?"
"No! I paid for the flight, how do I get on it without my ID?"
"Miss, there is no way you can get on the flight without any identifications. Are you sure you don't have IDs at home ?"

"WTF, are you telling me that I paid for my flight but I can't get on it? This is ridiculous! Is there any supervisor I can talk to that can help me?"
"Miss, even if I transfer you to my supervisors, there is nothing they can do because you won't be able to get on your flight without proving who you are."
"Oh, so you are just going to take my money and won't let me on the plane!?"
"There is nothing I can do if you don't have any identifications."

"You are not doing your f***** job!!"



What a typical day.. please reconsider if you are thinking of joining the airline industry....

and please don't purchase a ticket if you can't prove who you are.
